TypingReps is a local-first typing trainer. The MVP has no account system, no backend database, and no payment flow.
What Stays Local
Your typed input, metrics, and recent history stay in your browser. Recent history is stored with browser storage on your device and can be exported or imported as JSON.
What We Receive
The app does not send your typed input or typing results to TypingReps. Vercel Web Analytics receives anonymous visit and page-view events so we can understand basic traffic: the page URL, referrer, approximate location, and browser, operating system, and device type. It uses no third-party cookies; Vercel identifies a visit by a hash of the incoming request and discards that visitor session after 24 hours.
Vercel Speed Insights receives anonymous page-performance measurements (Core Web Vitals) with the page URL, network speed, browser, operating system, device type, and country, so we can keep the site fast. Neither service receives what you type.
If you email feedback, that message and your email address are received through your email provider.
Third Parties
Vercel hosts the site and handles standard request data, such as IP address, to deliver pages. The site loads Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights; see Vercel's privacy notice. It does not load advertising pixels or error-reporting SDKs. External links, such as TrimText, open separate sites with their own policies.
Local Storage Control
You can clear saved TypingReps history by clearing this site's browser storage. Export history first if you want a manual backup.
